The detail

Both halves, on the same page.

A warranty is only worth what its exclusions leave behind, so here are ours in the same size type as the coverage.

What is covered

  • Defects in the micro-meshThe stainless steel gutter protection itself, against defects in materials, for the functional life of the product.
  • Defects in the installationThe workmanship. If something we fitted comes loose, lifts, or was not fitted correctly, that is ours to correct.
  • Debris getting past the meshIf debris passes through or beneath the installed micro-mesh and clogs or blocks the inside of the gutters or downspouts, we clean the interior of the affected gutters and downspouts at no charge.
  • Putting the mesh back rightRepairing or re-securing the micro-mesh as needed to restore proper drainage, again at no charge to you.
  • The next owner of the houseThe coverage transfers with the property while the product remains installed there, provided the transfer is registered with us.

What is not covered

  • Debris on top of the meshLeaves, pine needles, seeds, blossoms and dust collecting on the surface are normal and expected, and are not a defect. Keeping the exterior of the mesh reasonably clear is the homeowner's responsibility. We can do it as a separately priced visit if you would rather not.
  • Work done by somebody elseAny modification, addition (including heat cables), painting, coating, pressure-washing, or work carried out on the protection, the gutters, the downspouts or the roof by anyone other than us voids the warranty for the affected areas.
  • Causes outside our controlImpact, misuse, improper maintenance, acts of nature, storms, hail, wind, falling limbs, animals or pests, excessive ice or snow loads, ice dams, roof or structural movement, settlement, and fire.
  • Pre-existing damageExisting gutters, fascia, soffits, roof edges, downspouts, hangers and sealants can carry deterioration that was there before we arrived. Realignment and reinforcement improve an existing system; they are not a replacement for components that are past it.

It is not a guarantee against every water event

Gutters interact with the roof, the weather and the trees around them. We do not guarantee that ice dams, overflow during extreme rainfall, or water getting in from causes outside the installed product will never happen. Saying otherwise would be the same overselling the rest of this site is about.

None of that reduces the interior-clogging coverage above, which is the part of the warranty that actually gets used.

Your rights under Ontario law

Nothing in this warranty removes or limits any right you have under applicable Ontario or Canadian law that cannot legally be excluded.

If something goes wrong

How to ask for warranty service.

Get in touch and tell us what the gutters are doing. Photographs help but are not required, and we would rather come and look than have you try to diagnose it from the ground.

Use the contact details on your agreement

Your signed installation agreement carries the phone number and email to reach us on, along with your job number and the date of the work.

Or send it through the form

The form at the bottom of this page reaches the same inbox. Put the property address in and say it is a warranty call rather than a new inspection.

What happens next

Warranty service is cleaning, repair, re-securing or replacement of the affected gutter protection, or correction of the installation, whichever the situation calls for.

Buying a house that has this on it

The warranty transfers with the property while the product stays installed. Get in touch to register the transfer into your name.

Also in writing

The rest of what you sign.

Four things that are on the installation agreement and are worth knowing before you book the inspection, never mind before you book the work.

No deposit

Payment of the full total is due on completion. Nothing is taken up front.

Liability insurance

We carry liability insurance covering the installation work, and the price includes complete job-site cleanup.

Ten days to cancel

You can cancel within ten days of receiving a copy of the signed agreement, without giving a reason. Because no deposit is taken, in most cases there is nothing to refund.

No work you did not authorise

Anything outside the agreed scope needs your written authorisation first, except where immediate action is needed for safety or to prevent damage.
