Most of the eavestrough guards on the market are plastic lattice, fibreglass screen or thin perforated sheet. They are cheap to make, cheap to fit and they are the reason gutter guards have the reputation they have. This is built out of two metals and nothing else.
It will not rust, go brittle in the sun, or tear. Birds cannot pull it apart, and nothing takes root in an aperture this fine.
The frame is what holds the mesh flat and in line across a long run. Rigid, corrosion resistant, and it does not sag between fixings.
Fine debris is filtered on the surface without compromising water flow. Nothing is given up to the filter, which is the failure mode of a solid cover.
Stainless steel does not go brittle in the cold. Keeping the run clear and correctly pitched is also the best thing that can be done about ice building at the eave.
What micro-mesh does not do
Debris sits on top of the mesh, dries out and blows off. That is how the material is meant to work, and it is why the run underneath stops needing to be opened up twice a year. It is not a claim that nothing will ever land on it.
No gutter protection system can guarantee that every leaf, seed, fine particle, or piece of ice and snow is excluded. Under heavy tree cover, occasional clearing of the exterior surface of the mesh may still be worth doing. If your roof drops something unusual, we tell you at the inspection rather than after it.

The mesh is the fifth thing we do. Before it goes anywhere near your roofline the run is emptied by hand and flushed through, every corner, end cap, seam and downspout collar is resealed, sagging sections are brought back to a quarter inch of fall per ten feet, and new heavy duty hangers go in wherever the old ones pulled loose.
Fit the same panel to a gutter that is blocked, leaking and out of line and it will fail with the gutter. That is not a fault in the material. It is the order of operations, and it is the one thing almost nobody else does.
Lifetime, and transferable.
The stainless mesh and the workmanship are warranted for the functional life of the installed product at your address. If debris gets through or under the mesh and blocks the gutter, we come back, clear it and put the mesh right at no charge. Sell the house and the warranty goes with it.
